Freshchat Integration

The Freshchat Integration connects your AI Agent with Freshchat to streamline conversation management and enable human handoff. Follow the steps below to configure the integration.

Setting Up Freshchat Integration

Open Freshchat Integration

1. Navigate to the Integrations tab in your AI Agent dashboard.

2. Locate the Freshchat Inbox card and click Setup Now.

3. Click Continue to proceed.

   Click 'Setup Now' to configure Freshchat integration.

   Click on 'Continue' to proceed.

Enter Account Details

Provide the following information from your Freshchat account:

• Chat URL Subdomain: Found under "API Details for Chat" in Freshchat settings. Example: For https://xyzcompany.freshchat.com/v2, enter xyzcompany.

• API Key: Found in the same "API Details for Chat" section.

  Enter your Freshchat API Key and Subdomain details.

How to Retrieve Account Details

1. Log in to Your Freshchat Account Access your Freshchat account.

   Log in to your Freshchat account.

2. Access API Settings

   • Go to Admin Settings > Marketplace and Integrations.

   • Click API Settings to find your credentials.

     Access 'Marketplace and Integrations' in Admin Settings.

3. Copy API Key and Chat URL

   • Find and copy your API Key and Chat URL Subdomain under "API Details for Chat."

     Copy your API Key and Chat URL from Freshchat settings.

     Keep your API Key secure to ensure a safe connection between AI Agent and Freshchat.

4. Paste API Key and Chat URL

   • Return to the AI Agent integration screen.

   • Paste the API Key and Chat URL Subdomain into the respective fields.

   • Click Continue to proceed.

     Paste the copied API Key and Chat URL in the integration setup screen.

5. Select a Topic

   • Map a Freshchat topic, such as Chat with Us or Support, to sync conversations with AI Agent.

6. Set Webhook URL

   • Copy the webhook URL generated by AI Agent.

   • Go to Admin Settings > Webhooks in Freshchat.

     Go to conversation webhook settings.

   • Paste the AI Agent webhook URL into Freshchat's webhook settings.

7. Save Integration

   • Click Save Integration to finalize the setup.

     Save the integration to complete setup.

Ensure your Freshchat account details, including the API Key and Chat URL, are correct to avoid integration issues.
