Creating AI Agent

The following guide walks you through creating an AI Agent, customizing its personality, and configuring its features to align with your brand or objectives.

Getting to the creation page

Click Agents in the global navigation bar to open the agent listing, then click the Create AI Agent button in the top-right corner of the listing. This opens the agent creation page.

The Create AI Agent button is only visible to Admin and Owner roles.

Choose how to start: build from scratch, import, or pick a template.

From here you have three ways to start:

• Build from scratch: Create a custom AI Agent with full control over all settings
• Import: Import an existing AI Agent configuration from a JSON file
• Quick Start AI Agent Templates: Browse pre-built templates for common use cases like customer support, PDF chat, or website Q&A — select a template to pre-fill the form

Basic Configuration

Configure the basic settings for your AI Agent:

1. Upload a Logo:

   • Click on the logo icon.
   • Select an image from your device.
   • To remove the logo, click the remove button, and a default logo will appear.

   Ensure your image has a 1:1 aspect ratio and is less than 1MB in size.

2. Enter AI Agent Name: Enter a unique name for your AI Agent. This name helps you identify and distinguish this AI Agent from others.

3. Set Persona: Select a persona type from the dropdown menu. Choose Custom to write your own persona, or select one of the pre-built template personas.

4. Define Persona: Describe in detail how your AI Agent should behave and the context of your business. This rich-text field is always visible below the persona type selector — edit it freely regardless of which persona type you chose. You can expand the editor to full-screen using the expand icon in the top-right corner of the field.

   tip

   The more specific your persona description, the more consistently your agent will respond on-brand.

5. Choose Tone: Select a communication tone for your AI Agent that aligns best with your brand or purpose.

   Tone	Description
   Professional	Focused, clear, and formal.
   Friendly	Approachable, conversational, and warm.
   Sassy	Bold, witty, and playful.
   Empathetic	Understanding and supportive.
   Humorous	Light-hearted and fun.
   Formal	Polished and structured.

6. Adjust Creativity Level: Choose the level that best fits your requirements.

Creativity Level	Description
Low Creativity	Focused on precise, factual, and structured responses.
Medium Creativity	Balances structured responses with some flexibility.
High Creativity	Produces imaginative, varied, and exploratory responses.

Once you've configured all settings, click Create AI Agent to finalize your AI Agent setup. You can preview how your AI Agent will look and interact in the preview panel on the right side of the configuration page.
