Data Collection
In this tab, you can configure fields to collect important user data during conversations. This feature helps you gather both personal information (such as Name, Email, Phone, Age, and City) and non-personal data (like interests, platform ratings, NPS scores, etc.) to better understand and engage with your users.
Enable Data Collection
Toggle the Data Collection feature on or off. When enabled, your AI Agent will prompt users to provide their details during conversations based on the fields you configure.
Configure Data Fields
Define the specific information you want to collect from users by creating custom data fields. Each field consists of:
-
Name: The label for the data field (e.g., "Name", "Email", "Phone")
-
Description: A brief explanation of what information is being requested (e.g., "user's name", "user's email")
-
Type: The data type for the field (e.g., String, Number, Boolean)

Click "+ Add Row" to create additional data fields. You can add as many fields as needed to collect comprehensive user information.
Allow to Skip Answers
When enabled, users have the option to bypass responding to data collection questions if they choose. This provides flexibility and respects user preferences while still encouraging data collection.
Enabling this option can improve user experience by giving users control over what information they share, potentially increasing engagement and trust.
Ask Questions Sequentially
When enabled, your AI Agent will prompt questions individually, one after the other, instead of asking all questions at once. This creates a more conversational and less overwhelming experience for users.
Sequential questioning creates a more natural conversation flow and can lead to higher completion rates, as users are less likely to feel overwhelmed by multiple questions at once.
