Navigating the Console

The Kaily console has two levels of navigation: a global navigation bar always visible on the left, and a per-agent sidebar that appears when you open a specific agent.

The global navigation bar (left strip) gives access to Agents, Insights, and Helpdesk.

The narrow dark strip on the far left is the global navigation bar. It is always visible no matter what page you're on.

Click Agents to open the agent listing and manage your AI Agents.


Agent listing

The agent listing shows all AI Agents in your organization as a table. Each row shows:

From the listing you can:

  • Search agents by name using the search bar.
  • Filter by status using the status dropdown.
  • Click an agent row to open it and start configuring it.
  • Create a new agent — click Create AI Agent in the top-right corner (visible to Admin and Owner roles).
The agent listing — click any row to open that agent, or click Create AI Agent to start a new one.

In-agent sidebar

When you click an agent card, the console opens that agent and shows the in-agent sidebar on the left. This sidebar is the primary way to navigate between an agent's features.

The in-agent sidebar gives access to all sections for the selected agent.

Role-based visibility

Tabs marked Admin/Owner/Advisor are hidden for Member and Support roles. The tabs that appear depend on the role assigned to your account in this organization.

Configuration sub-menu

The Configuration tab expands to show sub-sections:

  • Basic Info
  • Appearance
  • Welcome Settings
  • Agent Memory
  • Voice
  • Video
  • Data Collection
  • Human Handoff

Click the tab to expand the sub-menu, then click any section to navigate directly to it.

Inbox sub-menu

The Inbox tab expands to show:

  • Conversations
  • Data Collection
  • Traces (Admin and Owner only)

Collapsing the sidebar

Click the circular collapse toggle button (positioned at the right edge of the sidebar) to collapse the sidebar to icons-only mode (56 px wide). This gives more horizontal space to the main content area. Click it again to expand back to the full 224 px width with labels.

When collapsed:

  • Each tab still shows its icon.
  • Hovering over an icon shows a tooltip with the tab name.
  • Clicking a tab with a sub-menu automatically expands the sidebar before opening the sub-menu.
Collapse the sidebar to icons-only mode for more working space.

Returning to the agent listing

Click the exit button (the arrow icon at the top of the sidebar) to leave the current agent and return to the agent listing. The agent name and icon are shown next to the exit button so you always know which agent you are working in.
